Directions to Fort Gregg-Adams

From I-95 South from Arlington, VA

  • Proceed south on I-95 merging onto I-295 S via exit number 84A- on the left- toward ROCKY MT NC.
  • Proceed on I-295 South onto VA-36 W/OAKLAWN BLVD via exit number 9B toward FORT GREGG-ADAMS/COLONIAL HEIGHTS.
  • Go to the fifth traffic light and turn left at the Gregg Avenue Gate. Get immediately in the right hand lane and park in the Welcome Center parking lot.
  • When you are through the gate, keep going straight until you get to the first light. Take a left at the light. Quartermaster Corps & School will be on your right.
  • Approximate Travel Time - 2 hours, 17 minutes

From I-95 North from Rocky Mount, NC

  • Proceed north on I-95 merging onto I-295 N via exit number 46 toward WASHINGTON.
  • Proceed on I-295 North onto VA-36 W/OAKLAWN BLVD via exit number 9B toward FORT GREGG-ADAMS/COLONIAL HEIGHTS.
  • Go to the fifth traffic light and turn left at the Gregg Avenue Gate. Get immediately in the right hand lane and park in the Welcome Center parking lot. When you are through the gate, keep going straight until you get to the first light.
  • Take a left at the light. Quartermaster Corps & School will be on your right.
  • Approximate Travel Time - 1 hour, 55 minutes

From I-64 East from Charlottesville, VA

  • Proceed east on I-64 merging onto I-295 S via exit number 177 toward WASHINGTON/NORFOLK.
  • Proceed on I-295 South onto VA-36 W/OAKLAWN BLVD via exit number 9B toward FORT GREGG-ADAMS/COLONIAL HEIGHTS.
  • Go to the fifth traffic light and turn left at the Gregg Avenue Gate. Get immediately in the right hand lane and park in the Welcome Center parking lot.When you are through the gate, keep going straight until you get to the first light.

From I-64 West from Virginia Beach, VA

  • Proceed west on I-64 merging onto I-295 S/US-60 exit- exit number 200- toward ROCKY MT NC
  • Merge onto I-295 S via the exit- on the left- toward BOTTOMS BR.
  • Proceed on I-295 South onto VA-36 W/OAKLAWN BLVD via exit number 9B toward FORT GREGG-ADAMS/COLONIAL HEIGHTS.
  • Go to the fifth traffic light and turn left at the Gregg Avenue Gate. Get immediately in the right hand lane and park in the Welcome Center parking lot. When you are through the gate, keep going straight until you get to the first light.
