TWI Application: Officer

The Office of the Quartermaster Commandant is once again looking for highly motivated Captains for the FY26 Training with Industry (TWI) Program!

TWI Overview

The Training with Industry (TWI) Program was established to provide military personnel training and development of skills in civilian private sector procedures and practices not available through existing military or advanced civilian schooling programs. Participants will serve at the industry partner for approximately 1 year. Following that assignment, participants will serve a utilization tour to leverage the skills they developed while at industry. Per AR 621-1, utilization tours are a minimum of 2 years. The Quartermaster School intends for all Utilization tours to be 3 years to provide more value to units, stabilize personnel and match normal PCS cycles, and spread TWI talent to more organizations throughout the Army.

Eligibility

  • Captains who can fulfill a 1 year TWI and 2 year utilization tour as proponent directs.
  • Meet Height and Weight requirements
  • Must be Command Complete
  • Must have completed Logistics Captain Career Course
  • Must be Regular Army on Active Duty

Application Packet

Packet is comprised of:

  • Signed TWI Statement of understanding
  • Provide all Captain and Lieutenant Officer Evaluation Reports
  • Provide two letters of recommendations (Battalion Commander and/or above)
  • Provide most recent Officer Record Brief
  • Army Physical Fitness Test (DA Form 705)
  • Academic Evaluation Reports

Incomplete Training with Industry Packets will not be considered.
