Navy Parachute Rigger Course
Course Scope
Provide certification in the packing, rigging, and inspection of the Navy Premeditated Personnel Parachute programs (P3) Tactical and Non-Tactical parachute systems. Provide training and certification in the rigging and inspection of the Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRC) in preparation for airdrop.
Special Information
- Members will have an opportunity to participate in a static line parachute operation during this course. Bring BDUs / U.S. Army approved jump boots, Jump Log, Airborne Certificate and Hazardous Duty Jump Orders. No flight suits or half top boots. See prerequisites.
- TDY students will contact Fort Lee Lodging Operations at (804) 733-4100. Personnel must be on full Per Diem and have a means of transportation. Students will report to Building 6025, 710 Adams Avenue NLT 0830 on the first day of training. Please call (804) 734-4724/3042 for additional information.
Prerequisites
Attendee must be an E-4 (or above) Active Duty, under orders to any Command where airborne operations are a mission requirement, and one of the following:
- Aircrew Survival Equipmentman (C-602-2043)
- Naval Special Warfare Basic Crewman Training (K-060-0030)
- Seal Qualification Training (K-431-0059)
- Explosive Ordnance Disposal Basic Navy (Underwater) (A-431-0133)
- Second Class Diver (A-433-0022)
Note: Personnel below the grade of E-4 assigned to NSW Development Group, Dam Neck, Virginia do not require an approved Rank Waiver prior to reporting.

- 92R Parachute Rigger (NS) Phases 1-3
