G-15/G-16 Large Cargo Parachute Systems (LCPS)

RESIDENT COURSE

The G-15/G-16 Large Cargo parachute Systems course will only be available as an onsite training event.

Prerequisits

Course is currently open to Active, Reserve, and National Guard Army Enlisted MOS 92R and Airdrop Systems Technician MOS 921A personnel.

Uniform

The authorized duty uniform.

MOBILE COURSE

Units will submit an Unscheduled Training Request through their organizational channels to the Human Resources Command (HRC) MTT Cell and to TRADOC G-3/5/7.

General

Active, Reserve, and National Guard units may request a G-15/G-16 LCPS MTT through the ATRRS. MTT's can train a maximum of 24 students.

Host/Requesting Units are responsible for providing ALL:

  • Training Facilities
  • Equipment
  • Travel and Full Per Diem for required Instructors

Funding must be received no later than twelve (30) working days prior to course start date or training may be cancelled.

Coordination

Once a class is reserved, it is imperative that host units carefully review all requirements and begin coordination with the ADD at DSN 687-4724 or Com 804-734-4724 immediately. The following is a list of equipment and material requirements.

Failure to comply with requirements can result in the cancellation of training.

  1. Select and reserve a course date in ATRRS.

  2. Establish a primary and alternate POC, and contact the:

      Aerial Delivery Division (ADD)

  3. Consolidate all equipment in the designated training area and inspect for completeness and serviceability.
