Command Sergeant Major Tisa W. Scott is a native of Eatonton, Georgia. She attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri in November 1993. She graduated Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia where she was awarded the MOS, 92A, Automated Logistics Specialist.
During her 26 years of service, CSM Scott served in numerous leadership positions. Her duty assignments include Garrison Command Sergeant Major, United States Garrion- Rock Island Arsenal (Rock Island, Illinois), 101st Brigade Support Battalion Command Sergeant Major (Fort Riley, Kansas), Support Operations Sergeant Major, 3rd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade (Fort Stewart, Georgia), First Sergeant and S3 Operations NCO, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 501st Brigade Support Battalion (Fort Bliss, Texas), First Sergeant, Alpha Company, 26th Brigade Support Battalion (Fort Stewart, Georgia), Platoon Sergeant, Warrior Transition Battalion (Fort Stewart, Georgia), Warehouse NCOIC and Rear Detachment NCO, 574th Supply and Services Company (Mannheim, Germany), Land, Ranges and Ammo NCO, 4th Corps Materiel Management Center (Fort Hood, Texas), Shipping and Receiving NCO, Alpha Company, 123rd Main Support Battalion (Dexheim, Germany), and Prescribed Load List (PLL) Clerk, 59th Chemical Company (Fort Drum, New York). Her deployments include four tours to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, one tour to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and one tour to Poland in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
CSM Scott's military education includes all levels of the Non-Commissioned Officer's Education System, Battle Staff NCO Course, Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS) Materiel Manager Course, Master Resilience Training Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course and the Army Retention Course.
Her awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal (with two Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal (with four Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Commendation Medal (with two Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (with eight Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Good Conduct Medal 8th Award, National Defense Service Medal (with Two Bronze Stars), Iraqi Campaign Medal (with three Campaign Stars), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral Four, Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon with Numeral Two, NATO Medal, Combat Action Badge and Drivers/Mechanics Badge. She is a recipient of the Distinguished Order of Saint Martin Award and inducted as a Distinguished Member of the Quartermaster Corps.
