Quartermaster Command Sergeant Major - CSM Charles E. WebsterCSM Charles E. Webster enlisted in the United States Army in Nashville, Tennessee. During his 26 years of active duty service he served in a variety of non-commissioned officer leadership positions: Small arms repairman, Property Book non-commissioned officer, Supply Sergeant, First Sergeant, Sergeant Major and Command Sergeant Major.

CSM Webster was assigned to First Special Forces Group Okinawa, Japan, the Sixth Special Forces Group Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and the Fifth Special Forces Group in Vietnam covering the period 1963-1974. He later served with the Seventh Support Group Command in Germany, and was the Command Sergeant Major of the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division Support Command at Fort Campbell, Kentucky prior to arriving at Fort Gregg-Adams.

CSM Webster’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (first Oak Leaf Cluster) the Army Commendation Medal (second Oak Leaf Cluster), Special Forces Tab, Parachute Badge and Air Assault Badge.

He is a graduate of Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course and class 12 of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy.
