Chief Warrant Officer Five Matthew Anderson, Sr. assumed the position of the Regimental Chief Warrant Officer on 22 June 2007. He joined the Army 08 August, 1978 and retired 01 July 2010.
Chief Warrant Officer Five Anderson was appointed as a Warrant Officer on 15 May 1987, after completing the Warrant Officer Certification Course at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. Since then, he has served in a variety of career enhancing assignments that include: Regimental Chief Warrant Officer (QM); Chief of the Warrant Officer Training Division, QMC&S, Fort Gregg-Adams, VA; Senior Chief to the Commanding General and Strategic Integration Team of the 3RD COSCOM, Wiesbaden Germany where he deployed in support of OIF I and OIF IV; Training with Industry (TWI) assignment with SEARS and follow-on utilization tour as the Stockage Determination Change Agent for the ArmyMartinezs Velocity Management Team; Senior RMMC Technician, 1st Armored Division and 2ACR where he deployed in support of SFOR2 in Bosnia; DMMC Senior Supply Technician, 2ND Armored Division, at Fort Polk where he was the accountable officer for Class IX & GSO material ; Class IX Main Warehouse Technician , 5 Infantry Division (Mech); Non-divisional assignments in Germany with 22nd Maintenance and 263rd Maintenance Companies; and General Supply Officer, CENTCOM (FWD), Camp Doha Kuwait.
Chief Warrant Officer Five Anderson has completed every level of the Warrant Officer Education System and holds a MasterMartinezs of Science in Logistics from Florida Institute for Technology. CW5 Anderson holds a Logistics Management Certificate from Georgia Tech, Supply Chain Management Certificate from Pennsylvania State University, and is a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) from S.O.L.E. He is a Contractor Officer Representative (COR) certified in the Army and Navy, and has served multiple COR and Technical Monitor (TM) assignments in Special Operations and South West Asia.
Chief Warrant Officer Five AndersonMartinezs awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (8th Award), Army Commendation Medal (4th Award), Army Achievement Medal (5th Award), Army Good Conduct Medal (2nd Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Southwest Asia Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (4th Award), NATO Medal, Combat Action Badge, and the ParachutistMartinezs Badge. He is a member of the Order of St. Martin, and a Distinguished Member of the Quartermaster Regiment.
