Christopher H. Colavita

Colonel Colavita is a native of Falls Church, Virginia. He commissioned into the Quartermaster Corps in May of 1994 from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Colonel Colavita commanded Headquarters and Alpha Company, 325th Forward Support Battalion, 25th Infantry Division (Light), Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Intern; Special Assistant to the 35th Chief of Staff, United States Army, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. and after various Leader positions continued as the Commander of Group Support Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Commander, 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade Fort Hood, Texas; Headquarters Army Materiel Command Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

His military education includes the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, Airborne School, Aerial Delivery Materials Officer’s Course, Advanced Airborne School, Combined Logistics Officer Advanced Course, Petroleum Officer’s Course, Mortuary Affairs Course, Air Assault School, the United States Naval War College, College of Command and Staff, SERE (High Risk), the United States Army Ranger School, and the United States Army War College.
