Milo N. Jones
Chief Warrant Officer 5 Milo N. Jones is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. He enlisted in the Army in April 1989 as a Unit Supply Specialist (76Y). He attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He was selected to become a Quartermaster Warrant Officer and graduated from the Warrant Officer Basic Course in 2003 as a Property Accounting Technician (920A).
Chief Warrant Officer 5 Jones served in the following positions, 1st Cavalry Division Support Command (DISCOM) as a Property Book (PBO) Team Chief, Fort Hood, Texas; 2nd Brigade Combat Team PBO, Fort Hood, Texas; 1st Air Cavalry Brigade PBO, Fort Hood, Texas; Combined Arms Support Command G3 Collective Training Developer, Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia; United States Forces Afghanistan Theater PBO Advisor, Kabul, Afghanistan; 101st Airborne Division Senior PBO Advisor, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and I Corps Senior PBO Advisor, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
His deployments include two tours to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and two tours to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Chief Warrant Officer 5 Jones's military education includes all levels of the Warrant Officer Education system, as well as numerous Army and Joint Logistics courses. He holds an associate's degree in General Studies from Excelsior College, NY. Mr. Jones's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal (1 OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (6 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (9 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), Joint Meritorious Unit Award (1 OLC), Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal (1 BS), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (1 BS), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (2 BS), Iraqi Campaign Medal (4 BS), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service (Numeral 6), and the NATO Medal (Numeral 3). He is also a recipient of the Distinguished Order of Saint Martin.
