Keith A. Maxie

Senior Executive Service Mr. Keith A. Maxie is a native of Houston, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas-Austin and was commissioned a 2LT in the Quartermaster Corps as an Army ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate in 1967.

He holds a Masters in Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University and earned a Masters degree in National Security Strategy and Resources from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. Mr. Maxie served in a myriad of key command and staff positions throughout his military career to include: Director of Supply Liaison, Information Systems Support, Office of the Deputy Commanding General for Materiel Readiness, US Army Materiel Command; Commander, 9^th Supply and Transport Battalion, and Commander, 2^d Forward Support Battalion, 9^th Infantry Division Support Command, (DISCOM), Fort Lewis, Washington; Logistics Automation Officer, US Army Europe (USAREUR); and Logistics Officer, 701st Maintenance Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, Republic of Vietnam. Mr. Maxie served more than 22 years of active military service retiring as a Colonel in August 1989. He was appointed to Senior Executive Service (SES) status in September 1994 serving as Director and Principal Investigator, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense.
